How do I remove the face paint/glitter tattoos/hair braids?

Paint is easily removed using warm water and a gentle soap suitable for the face.

Glitter tattoos are designed to last for up to three days and are therefore waterproof to some degree. They can be removed using warm water and gentle scrubbing.

Hair braids can be untied at the bottom and unravelled; they must not be undone from the top to avoid unintentional damage to the hair. Children should be supervised when removing hair braids.

What do I do if I think my child is having an allergic reaction?

Our paints are professional grade and suitable for use on sensitive skin. However as with all cosmetic products there is a small risk of an allergic reaction. If you are concerned that you or your child may have developed an allergy to the face paint, remove as soon as possible with warm water and a flannel. If the reaction does not settle or is severe, seek medical attention as soon as possible.

I have a medical condition. Can I still be painted?

To ensure the safety of all our workers and clients, unfortunately we are unable to paint any

persons who pose a risk of cross-infection. This includes (but is not limited to): skin rashes/infective skin conditions, open wounds, conjunctivitis, cold sores or active illness e.g. common cold.

Please see our health and safety policy for more information.
